Indy Dave Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Trade Henry? Trade Moulds!? Look, both of those guys have made their share of boneheaded mistakes this season. For being our supposed stars on the offensive side of the ball, they sure do miss a lot of blocks, run the wrong routes, drop passes, etc. BUT....at least they bring something to the table in terms of ACTUAL PRODUCTION. Other teams would jump at the chance to get either of these players. Problem is, no other team in the league thinks much, if anything, of another skill player on our team. Two players can't carry an entire offense, especially when they make the number of mistakes Eric and Travis make. But trading EM and TH leaves us with....nothing. What would we get in return, draft picks? HA HA HA....great. I'm sure Tom will make good use out of those picks. Maybe we can get another Coy Wire or another Ryan Denney or another Josh Reed. Or maybe he can trade those draft picks away and get another Mark Campbell. There's a reason why Willis McGahee doesn't play. He's not ready. I'm curious to see what he will be able to do next September. If he regains the form he once had, then we look into trading Travis so we can upgrade another position. Until Willis proves he can come all the way back, you don't trade one of only two guys on the offense who does something positive, no matter how many times he slips. Christ....you think our offense is terrible now. Imagine it without Eric and Travis. The bottom line is this team is filled with a bunch of losers. They are in the habit of losing, and that's a tough habit to break. Much like the Pats find ways to win, the Bills find ways to lose. Plain and simple.
