No one is saying they didn't let Freddy know this ahead of time, but why else would a team so depleated of WR's pick up one off waivers right after he was cut, keep him on the roster for the week, and then cut him the day before playing his old team without bringing in another and playing the game with only 3 WR's?

Why sign him though?

Why not just give him $10,000 as a consultation fee?

And why him & not one of the other less conspicuous(read less talented) guys that were cut?

Fast Freddy is expected to be re-signed to New England this week, now that the Branch trade is done.

but, but, but....

NO!!!!

If that happens, our extra excuse to hate the Patriots will vanish & all we will be left with is the reasonable ones.

Say it isn't so.

Yeah, the Bills have no idea what their offense looks like.

Who is their offensive coordinator, again?

He runs such quickly developing plays (not) and we have all that speed on defense...hmmmmm----I like our chances...

Well, if they gave him a consultation fee it would look like the Mighty BB needed help and actually thought the lowly Bills could beat them.

By signing a WR, something everyone expected them to do since they are in desperate need of them, they could sign him and then cut him only paying him for the week he was part of the team.
