apuszczalowski
Why? Buffalo can beat the dolphins without having to pick the brains of a disgruntled player for tips and plays. Apparently NE and BB feared the Bills a little bit more and had to resort to that

apuszczalowski
You guys seriously think Belechick picked Smith up just for info ... wow 770271 No one is saying they didn't let Freddy know this ahead of time, but why else would a team so depleated of WR's pick up one off waivers right after he was cut, keep him on the roster for the week, and then cut him the day before playing his old team without bringing in another and playing the game with only 3 WR's? RuntheDamnBall
Come on, they could sign me up for peanuts and I'll give up the Mularkey game plan: 1) Score quick TD 2) 3 hours of mental vacation 3) Profit

Why not just give him $10,000 as a consultation fee? And why him & not one of the other less conspicuous(read less talented) guys that were cut? NO!!!! If that happens, our extra excuse to hate the Patriots will vanish & all we will be left with is the reasonable ones. Say it isn't so. daquixers_is_back
To think that Bill Belichick resorted to signing a Bills WR to get insider info and then had the Bills offense score on the first two drives is just unlikely in my opinion. crazyDingo
I will tel you the game plan and not require a roster spot: Statue-of-Liberty-flea-flicker-halfback-option-QB-sneak from the goal line. BREAK!
Mantis Toboggan M.D
we dont need to know the game plan. we know the gameplan from 32 games in 2 seasons. mularkey will not surprise us.

And why him & not one of the other less conspicuous(read less talented) guys that were cut? 770314 Well, if they gave him a consultation fee it would look like the Mighty BB needed help and actually thought the lowly Bills could beat them. By signing a WR, something everyone expected them to do since they are in desperate need of them, they could sign him and then cut him only paying him for the week he was part of the team.
