Buffalo Baumer
Yes, the Bills are on the right track, yes, the young guys played well and things are headed in the right direction but I did find one thing interesting after that 4th and one play. Anyone who watched the Sabres last season (including myself) will understand what I am talking about here. Do you remember when the Sabres fell behind one or two goals during the game and you just knew that they would come from behind and win it one of a hundred different ways? Well, this is exactly how Patriots fans have been feeling for the past 5 years. On the flip side of the coin, was there one Bills fan on the planet that did not know the game was over after they failed on 4th and one. Be honest, YOU KNEW it was over! This losing mentality has been instilled in this team and it's fans for the past 3-4 years and it is time to get past it. I do not believe this team has the loser mentality of last year's, but I can't wait until I (as a fan) extinguish the doomsday attitude. The Bills have GOT to start finishing off some of these games and I am looking forward to that day with great anticipation. Again, this is more stating the mentality of the fans more than the mentality of the team. Patriots had a fourth and 2 to win the game, you knew they would run the ball and they did - successfully.....
Marv Levy
I love hockey more than the NFL so I'm biased. The Sabres are so explosive on the PP that their confidence sealed comeback wins. The Bills just can't get over that slump. Also, having the Refs give everything to fuggin New England doesn't help either. Bastards!!
Buffalo Baumer
The Bills could not ask for a better opportunity to redeem themselves than against Miami on Sunday. If they could just eliminate some of those same stupid, meaningless penalties, a lot of these close hard fought games will start to turn to our favor.... A win in Miami would also create a rabid (or should I say even more rabid) atmosphere at the Ralph for the home opener!
