zow2 Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Just a little observation,,,but did anyone else notice that CBS was showing halftime highlights of FOX games and vice versa? In the past, neither network was allowed to show in-game highlights of the other networks games. I guess this has changed now that the new TV contracts are in play this season. I like the change.
Webster Guy Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Yes, I did notice that too...nice to see. Whatever network had the 4:00 would show replays from all 1:00 games, but you would never see two 1:00 games or two 4:00 games show each other's scoring updates. But now they do.
Rubes Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Yes! I did notice that. Glad I wasn't the only one.
Dan Gross Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I was also taken aback by the ads for games on other networks. Weird seeing an ad for Monday Night Football on the Sunday Night broadcast, now that they are two different companies...
Orton's Arm Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 The thing I hated most about those halftime highlights was that they took time away from football to tell us about tennis. I remember when the halftime highlights used to be my favorite part of the game. Too bad they've downgraded that segment.
Dr. Fong Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Did anyone else catch a FOX broadcast and that annoying ass noise that their scoreboard kept making right in the middle of the play?
