outsidethebox
That d can flat out fly. It will only improve. 767886 They can fly alright, they flew away in the second half. I would take a HUGE D-line over a smaller quicker D-line anyday of the week.
Peter
They can fly, but they cannot control the line of scrimmage. Sam Adams would have been very good in the D. Fat Pat as well.

But hey, that's just me.

Didn't see the call, was there really an illegal block on DWhit's pick?

34-78-83
Simpson did not embarass himself out there today and covered ground well. I like Vincent more than some, but I would consider leaving Simpson in after today.

Take a look at our starters, this team is to experienced to keep making the same mistakes time after time.

Fat Pat as well. 767909 Having those guys would make no difference. The real reason this run D sucked today is because our DEs have a bad habit of running 10 yards upfield every play, leaving a hole big enough to drive a truck through if it turns out to be a running play. I can understand them doing that on 3rd and 8, but not 1st and 10, as was often the case today and many times last year.
jarthur31
That d can flat out fly. It will only improve. 767886 It's a shame that can't run fast right up the gut to stuff the run or to the outside when they boune it out and stop it before the RB gains 7 yards on 1st and 10.
