/dev/null Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Surprised they took him alive. Glad they finally got this PoS off the streets
BoondckCL Posted September 9, 2006 Author Posted September 9, 2006 link? 765568 If you live in Western New York, turn on your TV or radio. Media on the scene does not even have a lot of information on the fact that he was caught. Phillips surrendered.
Corp000085 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 live on cnn now. PC with the head of the troopers coming "shortly"

mcjeff215 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Heard it on ATL radio... got him near the PA border they said.
throwbackbilly Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Hope they got a few goods cracks on that sad s.o.b. before they took him into custody...real good cracks.
Lori Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Heard it on ATL radio... got him near the PA border they said. 765595 Actually, on our side of the state line. Good hunting, PSP.
Bill from NYC Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Very strange. Who did he surrender to? Cops? He was going around shooting at, and killing cops. One would think that this is enough to place any officer in fear of his or her life. What am I missing? Now, he will go back to prison. Would anybody be surprised if he kills a correction officer in there? We seem to ba a "kinder and gentler" nation these days. I suppose this is a good thing. Or, maybe not.
The Senator Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Actually, on our side of the state line. Good hunting, PSP. 765598 And probably lucky for Bucky.
Mile High Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Suprises me the troopers didn't shoot him.
Lori Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Suprises me the troopers didn't shoot him. 765617 He supposedly bailed out of a moving car earlier today; I'm wondering if he was unarmed... And if he was, as much as the troopers may have WANTED to shoot him, they're professionals. Here's hoping Erie County can hold onto him this time.

If it was bif enough to escape through it had to be visible..... Right?
bbb Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 It probably had a poster of Rita Hayworth covering it.
cåblelady Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Here's hoping Erie County can hold onto him this time. 765622 From the press conference it sounded like he's going to be arraigned in Chemung County tomorrow. I may just have to take a ride to Elmira.
true_blue_bill Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Bucky Phillips caught. 765562 Good! It was getting pretty wired down here. They canceled some high school sporting events over the border in PA. I was actually on Cable Hollow Road yesterday before the sh** hit the fan. Yikes! So glad they caught him. Would not have cared at all if they just shot him 'resisting arrest'

beerme1 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Would anybody be surprised if he kills a correction officer in there? 765602 I'm taking this line from you and will say yes I would be surprised. He is a little man again. He was a nothing on the inside, and although he will now have some notoriety on the inside, he doesn't have a gun and isn't a big enough man to stand up to challenges he will face despite knowing the system from being a lifelong criminial. I would like to acknowledge and tip my hat to all the law enforcement people on the scene and in particular our NYS Troopers. I would have have emptied every clip I had into him!
