millbank Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 what you've just posted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in Shatner's rambling, incoherent response was he even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on TSW is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. 766245 ah shucks , thanks

Fan in San Diego Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 Baz Luhrmann: Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) 765664 Thanks Dude ! That was it ! I love it !
linksfiend Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 That song's originally by a British band from the mid-90s called Pulp. 765476 The name is the album is Different Class. I picked it up because I really liked that tune. CFNY used to play it all the time. It caught me as very Bowiesque. "Disco 2000" is decent, but the rest of the album was pretty disappointing. Pulp - Common People Still, Common People is probably in my 10 favorite songs. And Shatner's version is fabulous.
