ACor58 Posted September 8, 2006 Author Posted September 8, 2006 Again. 765187 What does this do to the cops moral if he gets away again? On another note, not to make light of the situation, but how long before the Bucky Phillips manhunt gets turned into a movie.
Arkady Renko Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Did someone ever figure out why this guy broke out of prison a day before he was going to be let out?
Gary M Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Did someone ever figure out why this guy broke out of prison a day before he was going to be let out? 765193 Bucky Phillips=Dumb Hillbilly
Peter Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Did someone ever figure out why this guy broke out of prison a day before he was going to be let out? 765193 I think that I read that he wanted to see the birth of his granddaughter and the authorities would not let him out early. For the life of me, I cannot understand why he has escalated all of this and has killed or tried to kill the state troopers or anyone else. He has destoyed the families of other people.
Bmwolf21 Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 nm http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/p...NEWS01/60908007 765173 FWIW, the news stations here in Cleveland have been reporting that Bucky might have made his way into NE Ohio, into Ashtabula County.
ACor58 Posted September 8, 2006 Author Posted September 8, 2006 Did someone ever figure out why this guy broke out of prison a day before he was going to be let out? 765193 Mental problems most likely.
stuckincincy Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 FWIW, the news stations here in Cleveland have been reporting that Bucky might have made his way into NE Ohio, into Ashtabula County. 765224 I heard on the radio that they are evacuating the town of Russell, PA, which is in the greater Erie area. http://www.sierratimes.com/rss/newswire.ph...7740520&feed=us
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Did someone ever figure out why this guy broke out of prison a day before he was going to be let out? 765193 I "heard" that the prison grapevine told him that he wasn't going to be released after all, so he released himself. Got that from one of the Buffalo radio stations the morning after he shot the two officers.

stuckincincy Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 They're evacuating an entire town?!?! 765257 That's what I heard on the radio. Sounds dubious to me, too...
MattyT Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Just a nitpick but the word "cornered" (used in the title of the D&C article) seems to be a bit exaggerated. To me, cornered means surrounded in an identified house or a room. Evactuating an entire golf course, town, etc. is an awfully big corner. Either way....go get 'em!
SD Jarhead Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 I hope they kill him slowly and painfully...F'in scumbag.
BuffaloBud Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 On another note, not to make light of the situation, but how long before the Bucky Phillips manhunt gets turned into a movie. 765192 Or, a song?
IDBillzFan Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Or, a song? 765397 The Wreck of the Ralph Bucky Phillips?
stuckincincy Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 The Wreck of the Ralph Bucky Phillips? 765408 Hang Down your Head, Buck Phillips.
Lori Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 They're evacuating an entire town?!?! 765257 Russell is about as close to Erie as Olean is to Buffalo, and calling it a "town" might be generous. More like a wide spot in the road, less than a thousand people, with a regional high school. (Good thing we don't play Eisenhower any more... although we are scheduled to play at Sheffield tomorrow, about 15 miles from where this is going down...) I've played that course. Those woods are thick. Good luck to PSP and friends... GET that (bleep).
Beerball Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Hang Down your Head, Buck Phillips. 765412 He'll be splattered around the mountain?
stuckincincy Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 He'll be splattered around the mountain? 765422 I don't recall that happening to Tom Dooley. He did meet her on the mountain, though. She'll be coming 'round the mountain, in a different tune.
