PromoTheRobot Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Is this what a Super Bowl contender looks like? Is that how a "genius" head coach manages a game? People talk about JP Losman being a bust, what the hell did I just see Daute Culpepper do in the 4Q? Miami...all talk, no walk...again. PTR
daquixers_is_back Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 4th quarter? all game dude ... he had like a 50 QB rating
CosmicBills Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 4th quarter? all game dude ... he had like a 50 QB rating 764686 Yes, but when the pressure was really on was when he gave up trying to complete passes to his own WRs and started throwing the ball to the Steelers instead.
jarthur31 Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 I just hope we beat them in Week 2 before celebrating around here. Cuz 0-2 will turn into a losing season rather quickly. When it comes to us, that is.
bprulz Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Well they have 9 days to prepare for us and we didnt even play yet.

NavyBillsFan Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Sad part is that DC lost the game for them... This game was winnable by the Fins
dib Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Miami's offensive line had more penetration than a Jenna Jameson porn.
Gary M Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Miami's offensive line had more penetration than a Jenna Jameson porn. 764795 Like when Polamalu almost took the handoff? No way can Miamis DBs cover Evans/Price/Parrish They were grabbing and holding all over the place.
silvermike Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 And remember, they were in the game for a while, because Charlie Batch screwed up several times. So if Miami does any "Well, we gave the defending champs a good fight, and the got us in the end" crap, remember: Charlie Batch didn't win no Super Bowl.
BoondckCL Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Like when Polamalu almost took the handoff? No way can Miamis DBs cover Evans/Price/Parrish They were grabbing and holding all over the place. 764806 The Dolphins have never been able to cover Bills receivers. When ever someone says something about the match up between Bills receivers and the Dolphins secondary, I think of Sam Madison mugging Moulds down field because he couldn't keep up. He looked like a obeiss child running the mile in gym class while having an addiction to cigarettes. No way does Travares Tillman and the rest of those endangered ocean delecasies stand a chance against the Bills receiving corps. Also keep PETA on speed dial...Cause Nate is a Dolphin killer.
bluv Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Miami's offensive line had more penetration than a Jenna Jameson porn. 764795 Overall I think both teams Oline did a decent job of pass protection; besides the few blitzes. Now the Dolphins run game stunk the whole night. But I think the reason why is that they ran at least %80 of the time when not in shotgun and used the shotgun at least %30-%40 of the time, passing everytime; making them predictable. This is just the way the Bills have been the past few years as you could guess their plays by the personnell on the field as they could never find a group proficient in both run and pass so they bring in these packages. I guess Murlakey took that garbage down there with him!
smokinandjokin Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Well they have 9 days to prepare for us and we didnt even play yet. 764734 Non-issue. If anything, I think this actually helps the Bills. Miami has a couple extra days of rest, but at this point in the season, I don't think that's a factor. In truth, the Bills' staff have three extra days to watch film of the Fins and break down their tendencies. The Dolphins have some extra time off, but they don't have any film on us. They can't even go back to last year, as both the offense and defense have been overhauled. I think they have enough problems of their own to worry about.

mead107 Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 What will it do to the media darlings if they stumble to 0 - 2? 764735 if , that is a big if
Steven in MD Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 if , that is a big if 764870 They are half way there, and will be playing a team coming off an impressive win over the Pats.
dib Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 What will it do to the media darlings if they stumble to 0 - 2? 764735 That's what scares me.. They are the media darlings, and the superbowl is in Miami. I'm always afraid of a sympathy f*ck by the refs to get Miami back on track.
buffaloboyinATL Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 I saw Mularkey's fingerprints on a few plays like a really lame halfback pitch option on third and short, where Ronnie Brown was hit by 3 Steeler defenders 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Classic. Madden says, "the play was probably well planned, just poorly executed".
5 Wide Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 I also enjoyed the botched flea flicker i believe that was in the 1st quarter. Brown went to pitch it back and the steelers were in the backfield so he just went forward for 2 yards....glad that guy is gone.
