MartyBall4Buffalo Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 It was reported earlier today that 5 offensive lineman of the Buffalo Bills football team have been missing in action. If you know where Jonas Jennings, Lawrence Smith, Trey Teague, Chris Villarial, and Mike Williams are. Please contact One Bills drive as soon as possible. They are needed for average run blocking, and piss poor pass protection. They were last seen letting their quarterback get killed, Mike Williams was spotted outside a burger joint with ketchup dripping on his shirt with a bewildered look on his face. They are wanted by authorities regarding, possible concussions that may have been attained by the quarterback who plays behind this line. Any Information leading to the whereabouts of this group of scrubs is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

eball Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 your post is neither clever nor insightful. the bills' OL did NOT lose the game yesterday, and in fact played very well. drew bledsoe, untimely penalties, and travis henry's inability to pick up blitzers or stay on his own two feet lost that ballgame.
Spun Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 The offensive line got blown away on the last drive. And whoever called the plays on that series of downs needs to explain themselves. Even if Henry had blocked the Patriot who sacked Bledsoe leading to the last Pats touchdown, there were two other Pats steaming right behind him. One of these weeks the Bills are going to have a "complete" game. I also believe the offensive line played better against the Pats. Bledsoe had more time and the run blocking was commendable. The Bills averaged five yards per carry. The Pats can be pushed around as Indy showed in the first Monday Night Football game. The Bills had success with the run but when they needed punch at the end, it wasn't there. The Bills were in the game into the fourth quarter, again. The Bills offense only scored 10 points, again. Travis Henry inexplicably lost his footing at a key point in the game, again. The Bills had some stupid undisciplined penalties, again. Too many, agains...
