Orton's Arm Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Which passing plays did you like the most, and which ones did you like the least?
macaroni Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Which passing plays did you like the most, and which ones did you like the least? 759369 I liked the ones the Bills completed, and the ones the Lions didn't complete the best I liked the ones the Lions completed and the ones the Bills didn't complete the least
Orton's Arm Posted September 2, 2006 Author Posted September 2, 2006 My own favorite play was obviously the 70 pass play by Nall. My second favorite play was also a Nall play--the one where Nall completed a pass he had absolutely no business throwing. You remember, the one where he had that defender draped on his shoulders, that he threw while getting hauled down. My least favorite play was also a Nall play--the one where he again attempted a pass while getting hauled down. That second time, he had one defender going after his lower legs, and another on his shoulders. For obvious reasons, that pass attempt resulted in an interception.

Mine was the screen pass to Royal, because it indicated we might actually throw to the TE this year.

Trip Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Kelly Holcomb's long pass to Reed was nice. Holcomb threw it down the field and Reed caught it, astronomical odds against that combination happening on the same play.

Royal did a good run after the catch on the screen pass to which you're referring.
34-78-83 Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 The Bills are a rebuilding team, so younger players like JP and Nall make more sense than an older guy like Holcomb. Royal did a good run after the catch on the screen pass to which you're referring. 760325 There, all fixed
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Nall did so well, he dropped to 3rd on the depth chart.

Also.... As 34-78-83 said, why is JP not a younger player too?
mary owen Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I liked all the pass plays that our guys didn't get injured!
