IDBillzFan Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/BUF/7601537 Old addage Travis "You don't make the club in the tub" Again he can B word all he wants but here we go again ANOTHER injury. 3331 Jerry Sullivan? Is that you???
USMCBillsFan Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Drew compromised him with that bad throw. End of arguement! 3538 That's stevestojan. Bledsoe put the ball a little behind Henry but NOBODY will make a perfect throw every time. You're going to get hit like that and it's part of the game. If the block wouldn't have been missed Bledsoe maybe makes a perfect throw. If the pass is on Henry gets plowed anyway. If your Aunt had a dick she'd be your Uncle. Point is it's football and it's not any one particular persons fault. Get a clue....

Get a clue.... mad.gif But it it's no one's fault in particularly, then we can't blame someone, and if we can't blame someone, than we'd have to resort to logical reason...and logical reason has never made for good conversations for the America Idol crowd.
Guest Kelly's Heroes Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Get off the Fella! He's proven to be a work horse. Hell Zach Thomas knows more about NFL running backs than all of us put together. He recently said that Travis Henry was the hardest back for him to tackle. Um, Zach is a Pro Bowler. Most of you are fat couch potatoes. Hell, most of you are probably never found a job after the Steel mill downsized! The fact is, Every team in the NFL would love to have a 1300 yard back. Ask Pittsburgh, Dallas, Detroit, Cleveland, Arizona, Cincy,Tennessee,TB,St.Louis,Chicago, SF,....hell the dude was 11 in total rushing yards and he missed a game and played hurt most of the year. Maybe, if our line was good enough to take on Kenmore High then he would look more like Emmitt Smith than Earl Campbell. That right, Earl , ended his career hurt and because he played for a week team. Wake up Buffalo, we need a leader. Does anyone think that if we hand the team over to Willis that , A) he wont go down B) will be here in 3 years, and c) can he make plays against Starters. Henry, you know will be here, make plays, and play hurt! In life and the NFL you tend to go with the proven commodity until your hand is forced and you have to play your 2nd string back. That is when Willis can run and show us he can do it and only when. The Kid has 1 year of college under his belt and he got hurt then. The PLays they gave him to run were Vanilla. Can he block? Is he willing to sell out his body and knees do let Bledsoe Find Evans,Reed, Or Moulds? I presonally believe he needs to wait his turn. It will come, RB in the NFL is tough and no one can handle the load all the time. Hell, Kenny Davis was good, but Thurman proved himself the Starter. That is the way the Cookie crumbles. Besides, who did Miami play that year? No one, The orangemen? C'mon, the East wasn't the Big 8 or Big 10 (actually 11)

I certainly knew how to spell dying correctly. Remember? How soon some people forget...
_BiB_ Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Jerry Sullivan? Is that you??? 3610 Friggen Jarheads. Eloquent as usual. . I said in another lost post somewhere, lets be calm and see where we are in gane four.
KRT88 Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Earl Campbell. That right, Earl , ended his career hurt and because he played for a week team. (actually 11) 3743 Earl Campbell played on a weak team? OK, so a team that lost twice in the AFC Championship Game (both games at Pittsburgh) was a weak team? So what's a strong team? Earl Campbell got hurt because he played such a punishing game. He never tried to run around anyone, he ran over them. Did the guy ever run out-of-bounds? Travis Henry doesn't play the game like Earl did but he doesn't avoid contact either. He gets hurt yes, but he also produces on the field.
