BillnutinHouston
I was under the impression that with the NFL ticket superfan package, most if not all of the games will be available in HD. Does anyone know if this is the case?Fez? 757055 That would be HEAVEN but I have NOT heard that.
HurlyBurly51
That would be HEAVEN but I have NOT heard that. 757699 Unfortunately, it's not true. They will show what the networks make available in HD, and thanks to CBS it'll only be three of the games from their package each week. Fox shows all of theirs, but of course that's NFC The rest are in sad 'ol SD, so while they're showing us in HD the first 2 weeks, I wouldn't get too used to it. MDH
Why the hell is CBS picking up the games AT Detroit and Chicago? 757753 That's the way it's always worked. CBS broadcasts the interleague game hosted by the NFC teams and Fox broadcasts the ones hosted by the AFC teams.
Fezmid
That would be HEAVEN but I have NOT heard that. 757699 As Denny said, it's not true. How can DirecTV broadcast something in HD that is recorded in SD? It's physically impossible Blame CBS for being idiots and not buying enough cameras! Fezmid
I work in the TV industry Directv, Inc. in particular. There is a very valid reason for it it is called Sattelites in space. A sattelite can only broadcast so much before it's capacity is maxed. Sattelites take years to make and cost billions of dollars. This is your #1 reason as to why all channels are not broadcast in HD. 757299 That has absolutely nothing to do with it. That's why DirecTV can't offer as many HD channels as Dish (for example), and why they needed to luanch a new bird to do locals in HD, but that's not CBS' problem as far as I know. What part of DirecTV do you work for?
