The Jokeman Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 I'm in a keeper league and struggling with who to keep. He's in a 10 team league that's expending to 12 teams this year. I'm keeping Shaun Alexander but struggling whether to keep Portis or Chambers. The scoring is 6 points any TD, 1 point a reception and an sliding bonus for how many yards rushing or receiving a player gets. ie 3 points if a player gets 75-99 rushing yards, 5 points for 100 - 149 yards, 7 points for 150- 199 yards and 10 points for over 200 yards. Each team is allowed to keep two players and after those keepers are announced the expansion teams are to take two players of their own that remain in the unkept pool. Then we have our draft. I own the 6th pick in the first round. I'm thinking of keeping Portis and possibly take a WR with his first pick. Yet I thought I'd post a poll for more opinions. stinky finger Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 Always,ALWAYS take the RB. 755969[/snapback] That is.......unless you feel the RB in question might be on the other side. I thought we've seen the best of CP before this shoulder thing. I would always side with the RB as well. Not here. Chambers best days are clearly in front of him. Not so sure about CP. He's taken a pounding and isn't the biggest of backs. They tend to lose it quick. Quote
Chilly Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 I'm thinking Chambers. Portis is worrying me, I'm not sure he can survive many more seasons in the NFL. If it was another top back besides Portis, you always take the RB, but injury concerns do play a part. Quote
