Tipster19 Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 If Vick makes the team he could be the next Kordel Stewart Part II. I bet Mularkey would love to unleash a little gadget play on us when we play them. The best way to counter that would be to have it blow up in his face and cost them the game.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Based on what? So far in pre-season, he's caught 2 passes for 12 yards (in the first game, and none since), fielded 5 punts for 29 yards (5.8 average) and 2 KO's for 35 yards (17.5 average). Unless they're purposely trying to hide him, I'd be surprised to see him make the team.

He'll be surrounded by trouble opportunities. Very much in his comfort zone. If he doesn't make the team big brother can subsidize his antics.

RunTheBall Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 The way to neutralize Marcus Vick is to have the cornerbacks carry a small bag of coke. When the ball comes his way, toss the coke on the gound and make the pick. RTB

PromoTheRobot Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Yep, 2 weeks after he does something miraculous against us to win the game for Miami. 755104 He'll probably be arrested at the victory celebration. PTR

From my count of the three games stats, it looks like he's only had one reverse and one gadget play this whole time.
SamsBuffetTable Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Problem is teh bills will see MV on the field and know that a trick play is coming. Just like they will know that on 3rd and goal with 2 yards to go defend the playaction flat pass to the fullback.

Better yet, save the money and the possiblility of getting arrested and have the CB's tell Vick that the lines on the field are coke. Carry around a tube, hand it to him, and tell him to go to town.
todd Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Marcus Vick, AKA Rudy Mexico. Ron & Rudy sure can party!
Wild Jay Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 From what I've read, it looks like he will be cut and put on the practice squad. I guess they would like to try to develop him further at QB.
apuszczalowski Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Yep, 2 weeks after he does something miraculous against us to win the game for Miami. 755104 Doesn't he have to actually make the team first for that to happen?
/dev/null Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 If Mike Vick is Ron Mexico, does that make Marcus Vick Ron New-Mexico?
