If he starts all 16 games ... well these numbers are based purely on the assumption that Losmans tendencies for "big plays" carry over from the last half of last season and this pre-season to the new season.

3360 yards (average 210 yds/game)

18 TD's (few games with more than 1 and a few games with 0)

11 INT's

400-450 yds rushing

I go with:

3,500-3,600 yards passing

27 TD's vs. 19 INT's

A 58-62% completion percentage

about 200-250 rushing with 2-3 TD's

Hopefully putting alot of doubts an uncertainty to rest. But if he's garbage, give us Quinn :P

I see two seasons for JP, one before the bye (7 games) and then after (9 games)

Before Bye

7games 1300yds 8TD 9INT 57% completion Bills record 2-5

After Bye

9 games 2000 yds 12TD 9INT 61% completion Bills record 5-4

Overall

16 games 3300 yds 20TD 18INT 59.6% completion Bills record 7-9

2200 Yards, 15TD, 8INTs......to go with the ball control offense that our

coaches have been preaching.....If JP throws 3000+ yards, we will be

in big trouble this year.....

I can do with that kind of performance with a 1500 yard season from

McGahee...

We will be in big big big trouble if JP only manages 2200 yds this year, that is only 137 yds/game.

I hope we see something more like this:

3600 yds passing = 225/game

24 TDs = 1.5/game

16 INTs = 1/game

480 yds rushing = 30/game

4 rushing TDs

6 fumbles

On a side note I would like to see McGahee reach 1400 yds rushing and 400 yds receiving.

If both JP and Willis produce doable #s like above we will be plesently surprised by this season.

I think (other than the post above me) people are under-estimating what Losman is going to do as far as running goes. He only played 8 games last year and had about 170 yards ... this was also when he was in Mularkey's system. Give me a full 16 games, with longer drives, and hopefully more possesions, and I think he should rush for 450-500 yards (about 30 a game).

Also I can not wait until we get in those Red Zone situations where the middle would be wide open due to LB's and CB's covering wide receivers and Willis McGahee and I just wished Bledsoe would run straight up the middle into the endzone but never did. Truly I believe Losman will have at least 10 of those opportunites this year and will capatalize on at least 3-4.

... not to mention that the Peerless Price bomb last game, came after he aluded a few would-be tacklers. Boy I love a scrambling QB.
