stinky finger Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 With this guys speed and smarts, not to mention good rapport with Brady, is this guy primed to put up Gates type numbers? If this game against the Skins was any indication, he'll be a monster. Thoughts? Quote

R. Rich Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 It's possible, but you do have to consider that New England does spread the ball around as inkman stated. Watson does seem to be a better than average receiver for them, which I honestly can't say for the rest of them. Maybe Branch, but even he isn't as good as people think he is. Better than average, but not an upper echelon WR. Quote
Pete Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 I think Watson is gonna have a huge year with many long TDs-might possibly become the best TE in the NFL. When Deion Branch bolts Watson might become Bradys #1 and noone can cover this guy. 265 pounds, runs a 4.4, and bench presses 585 Quote

Brown and Graham. Brady, IMO, will soon find out his best option will be Watson. This guy will be a matchup nightmare. I think he bucks the "spread it around" theory this year. Quote
