I grew up when Montana was doing his thing. That guy was awesome and consistently/constantly yanked victories from the jaws of defeat. John Elway is right behind him. Walter Payton makes the top 3.

Current: Isaiah Kacyvinski-Seahawks LB. An amazing life story for real.

(also from my hometown)

All time: Jerry Rice

Current: Brian Urlacher

All-Time: Tie between Walter Payton, Mike Singletary and Derrick Thomas

(Hmmm... mostly Bears)

Current: none. I hate the rest of the NFL and anyone not wearing a Bills uniform with a hatred that burns with a hard, gemlike flame.

All-Time: Terry Bradshaw

Before he became a cartoon, he was the embodiment of a big-game QB. A close second here is Roger Staubach. They both played in an era (before E$PN) when the NFL was a sport, not an Entertainment Product.

The censors are sleeping!

Anyway, Earl Campbell gets my vote. He was playing a different game than everybody else. Skoll, brother.

Dan Fouts is a runner-up.
