The Senator
Maynard played with, and helped the careers of, many jazz greats. RIP MF. 751105[/snapback] Including Buffalo's own Bobby Militello. The musical world has lost a great one in Maynard Ferguson. Requiescat in pace.

Matt in KC
He was an inspiration to me when I played trumpet. Maybe somewil play taps up three octaves?
IBTG81
Holy crap! A little LAMP... I got to play with Maynard. I play sax...My favorite is the bari sax. I loved a song called Coconut Champagne. Dennis Deblasio (who played with Maynard and knows him well) is a cousin of one of my best friends. I got to meet and play CC with Denny and Maynard. It was awesome, and I'll never forget it. An amazing musician, and even though I sucked compared to him (I'm not great in the least), he said he enjoyed it, which just made me so happy.
