Not even bothering to listen to reason. Like an Italian once said, only a psycho never changes his mind.

Wacka Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Yes, I'm joking. But I do think that eventually we will get into a war with Iran. The parallels to pre-WW II seem eerie to me. This time. nukes are thrown into the mix at the beginning. I saw cromagnum's post and the Valby song popped into my head. I was taking a quick break from work and wanted to lighten it up a little. I would have replied sooner, but the power went out here for about an hour- Damn terrorists

cromagnum Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I was merely saying that traditional diplomacy means very little to the powers that be in Iran. They operate on a different frequency than 99% of the Nations. 749422 And traditional diplomacy is not practiced here in the U.S. this decade, at least with a few countries like Iraq, Iran and korea.. We are currently at war and simutaneously preventing and preparing for war! This guy here has a saying about that. http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/519.html
Moose Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Enjoy some of these very enlightening videos. Here's an interesting question: If any one of the islamic nations (Iran in particular) had the military capability that the United States now has, what would they use it? So how does the West defeat radical islam? This is an interesting viewpoint.
Johnny Coli Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Here's an interesting question: If any one of the islamic nations (Iran in particular) had the military capability that the United States now has, what would they use it? 749847 Like Pakistan? Islamic nation. Has nuclear weapons. Is not a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. It's citizens are often involved in anti-US demonstrations (as recently as last week), and they may even be harboring the real guy that was behind 9-11 (remember him?). Sounds like a great time to invade Iran. It all adds up to an invasion of Iran. Edited to convey the sarcasm that was intended.
