SDS
I thought Mel Gibson in the original Lethal Weapon played a cool character... The sequels were cheesy, but he had that pyscho cop thing down pretty good.

River Phoenix was playing a kid who cried because he was misunderstood and prejudged. I think there is a big difference between crying and being reemed in the butt. Just some quick questions, Did you take any turns in prison? And do you find the Brokeback Cowboys to be cool?
BuffaloBud
I know that this might be a bit of a stretch actor-wise, Frank Sinatra.
Kelly the Dog
Almost too cliche to mention but there ain't no one cooler than Bogart in Casablanca. Ugarte: You despise me, don't you? Rick: If I gave you any thought, I probably would.

The Dean
Sean Connery as Bond certainly belongs...but Connery in The Man Who Would be King is the coolest, IMO.
millbank
I know that this might be a bit of a stretch actor-wise, Frank Sinatra. 751110[/snapback] No stretch at all, Frank played Pvt. Angelo Maggio, in From Here to Eternity a great film. Sinatra and Ernest Borgnine went at it in film, Fatso calling Maggio "The Little Monkey" and telling Maggio that his time would come when he was in the Brig.
