ACor58 Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I am in a 10 team three-man keeper league. I am having a dilemma. I have thus far elected to keep Peyton Manning, Tiki Barber, and Steven Jackson. We have added a new element to the league this year, 1 pt per reception. So my questions is this. Do I keep Chad Johnson and let Peyton Manning loose, or do I hold on to Manning and draft other Wide Outs. Quote
stinky finger Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 AC......you should take this over to the fantasy football forum @ TBD. You will find some advice there. But, while we're here.......keep Manning.....you'll find receptions elsewhere. Quote

stuckincincy Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I'd keep Manning. Question marks about Palmer, and a rough schedule too. OTOH, B'gals OC Bob Bratkowski like most OCs is perfectly willing to abandon a solid rushing game and spew passes like crazy if down by 7 points... Quote
silvermike Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I'd be the most skeptical of Barber - he's a top-shelf RB, but probably only for this year right now. Longterm, keeping Manning-Jackson-Johnson might be dominant. Quote

Mark Long Beach Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I'm also skeptical of barber. He's getting up there. He keeps overachieving, as he's done all his life, but father time catches up and he's been in the league what 10 years? Quote
Dr. Fong Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I'd keep Manning, Johnson, and Jackson and cut Barber loose. Even if you're not sold on Johnson he'd make some great trade bait. Quote
drnykterstein Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Uhm hold onto <anning, chad and one of your RB's. Are you seriously that addicted to RB's? They are not a drug, I promise. Quote
