Coach Tuesday Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Only the Arizona Cardinals are worse. Can anyone honestly say this team has shown ANY improvement in 4 years? What is the difference between Coy Wire jumping offsides on that fieldgoal and Chris Watson roughing the fieldgoal kicker in the Meadowlands? We've gotten NOWHERE. We will barely, if at all, surpass the 3-13 record in TD's first year at the helm. We have an inept QB, and a vastly undertalented o-line. We have lots of talent at the skill positions but we've never had a coaching staff that knows how to use it. We are the laughingstock of the entire league.

gantrules Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Absolutely...but you gotta credit TD for selling out this stadium with a crappy team. Reminds me of the Phillies.....
gantrules Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Think about ol' Ralphy Wilson counting his dough and TD saying...oh well....we still got the fan support.
Frez Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Donahoe deserves much of the blame from this play on the field. He built this crap team from the grond up.
gantrules Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 who is the fool? TD for giving the fans what they want? Big names and potential. Or us for continuing to sell out the Ralph while being 4-13 in our last 17 games. I say we are.
Britbillsfan Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 To get a serious contender for the play-offs with a rookie head coach and the shambles left behind by GW/KG on the O would have been a minor miracle. So far this season the Bills could easily have has a 3-0 record but for bad calls/plays. Game 1 - running out time and get a hold on a 3rd down conversion, and then Clements goes for the int instead of knocking the ball down Game 2 - Bad calls cost the Bills enough points to win the game Game 3 - The non-fumble call takes off 7 patsy points. We therefore do not go for 4th and short but instead kick a field goal. And certainly no freakin fumble return for a TD on a blown play...... The Bills are without doubt an extremely frustrating franchise as things stand, but they are suffering from some abyssmal luck as well. It does make you wish to smack somebody, but they are not a laughing stock, just can not get the ball to bounce in their direction and have an awful tendancy to shoot themselves in the foot when no one else is doing it for them. There are a number of posters who go on about how the Patriots are a lucky team. They are, and a good team. Put that together and you win championships. The Bills are an average (not poor, just average) team with play off possibilities who's luck plain sucks at the moment, so they are 0-3. And the sodding injuries don't help either when you are playing a genuinely good team like the Patriots.....
Toledo Bill Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Yeah... but we have Donahoe to grab headlines on draft day!
BillsGuyInMalta Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Yeah... but we have Donahoe to grab headlines on draft day! 54292[/snapback] Not so much this year when the Cowboys have the #2 overall selection.
BuffOrange Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 This team is actually WORSE than I thought. Sure there were some horsecrap calls, but officiating aside, we actually got way more breaks than usual. Kickoff return for a TD, botched punt resulting in a TD drive, NE fumble inside our 5.... And we STILL lose by 2 TD's at home? I don't know if this team is capable of winning a game.

Miami has a defence that is getting older not better, & I would not want either of their QB's.
