stuckincincy Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 A tragic tale of a women killed by a drunk driver. Her tendons were used to reconstruct B'gals qb Palmer's damaged knee - a minor point; her demise has helped many others. Bless her... http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...SPT02/608090361
dib Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 So does this mean that now Palmer will throw like a girl?
apuszczalowski Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 So does this mean that now Palmer will throw like a girl? 739075[/snapback] No, but he might run like one I was a nice thing for her (or her family to do) for someone else, and hopefully he supplies them with plenty of season tickets

udonkey Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 It'll be even sadder when some Steelers d-lineman takes his knee out again
Marv's Neighbor Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Great! I just got a blow out patch put on my Achilles last Friday, torn, not ruptured. Now I get to wear a boot like Tom Dempsey for about 3 months. Once you "hit" 50, it's truly a slippery slope!

I went through that with my father a couple years ago. When he passed suddenly, they asked my mother if she would be willing to donate anything and they told her what they needed. She was understandably an emotional wreck at the time and asked me what I thought. I told her that without a doubt in my mind dad would have wanted to help out those folks if he could. I know it helps my mom, as well as myslef, to know that my dad is still helping people to this day in some form or another.
