RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Good thing I have name tags on my clothing... 735671
MDH Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Tackling by grabbing a jersey from behind is a chicken-schitt, pansy-ass way of trying to recover after you've been beaten. This is a good rule "clarification" IMO.You mean they don't now? I've never seen a ball come out, whistle or no, and players not scramble for it. Another good rule change. 735580 I just don't see how you can award a change of possession to the other team when the change of possession occurs after the play has been whistled dead. I understand the frustration people feel from these types of "Bull Sh_t" calls (as it sucks to have a refs whistle blow dead a huge play for your team) but I don't care for the rule change. I'm sure I'm in the minority though.

If plays being blown dead is a real problem, isn't the answer changing the training of refs to not be so hasty with the whistle?
