LevysEraII
I got this from BB.com http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3920 Kelly Holcomb led the unit in the two-minute drill and while he did make several completions on the 13-play drive there were no big gainers that got the team down the field in a hurry. There was one opportunity when the offense was just outside the red zone and Holcomb had Roscoe Parrish open near the sideline on a deep out, but he elected to check down and make a completion underneath. He made a lot of completions in the five to 10-yard area. Once in the red zone Holcomb took a few shots at the end zone, but overthrew George Wilson and Parrish and then finished the drive with an interception in the end zone as Matt Bowen picked off the pass intended for Wilson. While JP Losman didn't do much better (going 4 and out on his two minute drill). The inability (Holcomb's) to get the ball down field is even more disturbing. How can you score in a two minute offense without throwing the ball deep?
silvermike
I think it sums it up pretty well if you're a Brady Quinn fan: Holcomb can't hit the big passes when he needs to, and survives off meaningless underneath stuff. JP can't complete passes, but can go deep.

I do think they're wasting time giving KH time. They know what he can or cannot do. Give it to JP so we know about him once and for all. And tell the veterans to keep their opinions to themselves. H2o
What about "Dinwiddee The Great" and Kingsbury? With Nall injured are those guys getting any shot what so ever?

TigerJ
Well, between Kingsbury and Holcomb, neither has much of an arm, but Kingsbury at least ran a college offence where he was something of a gunslinger who put up huge numbers. He may not be able o throw the deep out, or a 60 yard bomb, but he's not afraid to go to his first receiver.
