Nick in RaChaCha Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 So far both QBs are doing about the same in training camp. And if they end training camp in a tie... Well tie goes to JP w Holcomb is a low risk player who will only throw the long ball if he sees a coverage guy slip and fall.. Our D has too many question marks to play into Holcombs' strengths. (Low risk passes of 3-7 yards) If we fall behind in a game... Holcombs' strenght becomes a weakness. JP (who will throw a long ball) can lead an Offense to some quick scores. That is why JP will start.
smokinandjokin Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Plus the fact that Holcomb was born to be a backup quarterback. I'm not going to say he sucks, because he doesn't. But it sure sucks for you if he's your team's starting QB.
Phlegm Alley Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 I wonder what the word on when Nall will return.
