Just ran into JP tonight at a bar

Alright, Dawgg. What precisely were you thinking when you posted that you met our QB in a bar and then follow up with a mere four words? Not to speak for anyone else, but I think most everyone here would really like to hear all about your encounter. What was said? Was this in Rochester or Buffalo? What was his demeanor? Was he with a hottie? Was he drinking? Did he have the playbook with him? Was he flanked by Lee, Peerless, Josh and Roscoe? Any chance Moulds was there hanging with his buddy? Was he throwing water balloons? Did you ask him about Holcomb's weak arm?

Apologies, was a little bit drunk when I got home

Here is what happened. We were at a bar on Alexander St sitting in the lounge area and I noticed JP walking out with 2 other players (couldn't recognize them, thought one of them was McCargo but who knows)... my friend and I yelled out to JP and just said what's up, and good luck this season, he said thanks and kept walking out. Next thing I know, 5 mins later, JP came up to us and just said he didn't know anyone here and just wanted to mingle. So we introduced him to our group of friends (which included a few cute girls) and talked for about 10 mins... just small talk, didn't talk much about football. But he said he was psyched for the season, put a lot of work in and is ready to go. Very nice guy, thought it was classy of him to come by and say hello.

That is classy. Thanks for the story. Glad to hear water balloons weren't involved.

stojan is crying in his cornflakes this morning. The Dawgg is JPs new favorite bar buddy!

Nice of him to stop by and mingle. I hope those were a couple of O-linemen that he had in tow.

I know this isn't really what's important in the QB of our team but it is kind of refreshing to hear numerous stories of how down to earth JP actually is. All the talk about being a cocky a$$... when it comes down to it he seems like a great guy.

I've heard from so many people stories that they ran into JP walking down Elmwood or seeing him out at a bar and he had no ego whatsoever and was more interested in asking them questions rather than them asking JP.

Pretty nice guy for a cocky puck kid huh?

Apparently your friends are better looking than Stojans. Shocking.

Did you ask him how he pronounces his last name?

 Just like it's spelled....Wojeciehowicz.

That's a cool story, though. Makes you wonder why the hacks keep writing the hatchet-jobs about JP's character. Seems like somebody with a bone to pick floated that out there early on and the lazy journalists just run with the same tired tripe. Fug'em, I wear my Losman throw-back with pride.

Or was Troy Vincent lurking behind him to give a kick on his Knee ?

I remember the old Fredonia days when Jim Kelly would come out to bars and act like he owned the place. He would be surrounded by his linemen and wouldn't mingle with any fans. As he got toward the end of his career he became a little more social and humble. It's nice to hear JP is well grounded at a young age. I like his personality, he just seems like a Buffalonian. GO BILLS!!!!
