eball Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Still waitin on Whitner 730171 and McCargo
ACor58 Posted July 27, 2006 Author Posted July 27, 2006 They'll all be done today. 730174 Who is Whitner's agent? Since Huff and Sims have been signed, there is no reason why a deal should not have been worked out yet. Not sure what the hold up is with McCargo. I don't know if Santonio Holmes is signed, but he better hurry so he can feed his 10 kids. I know that D'Angelo Williams is unsigned, so that might have something to do with it.
The Tomcat Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Shake Shake Shake.... Shake Shake Shake... Shake Youbooty.... Sorry.....
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 They'll all be done today. I'm guessing tomorrow morning. Just seems to be the way.

Orton's Arm Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I don't like the Youboty deal. Only four years. I'd hate to see the Bills use a first-day pick on a CB, have said CB make a name for himself here, only to move to greener pastures after just a few years. Not that this has ever happened before.

JimBob2232 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I think he can only be offered 4 years.... Maybe if 3 more people say so, it will be true
The Senator Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 If memory serves, the max we can offer is a 4-year deal.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Incase it isn't clear by now you can only offer players drafted after the 1st rd 4 year deals
zevo Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I'm pretty sure 4 years is the max. Sry, i have always been a follower.

But I'm guessing you know a way to cheat on that. You know everything else. I wonder if it's the length of the contract holding up the Whitner deal...
