Not that it matters to us, but still...

Bentley likely blows out his knee

Did you see who he was blocking?

From ESPN.com:

>>>>Blocking for Reuben Droughns on an off-tackle running play to the right, Bentley, who played four years at New Orleans, was briefly engaged in a block up front with nose tackle TED WASHINGTON when his left knee buckled.<<<<

These guys DO earn their money.

Mike may be crossing back over after this.

I'm staying...for now. I'm just waiting for somebody to take a baseball bat to Willie McGinest's knee, while we're at it.

Sorry, I was in Columbus yesterday and didn't get a chance to post my feelings. In one word: Ouch.

The Browns had a chance at their best offensive line since about 1987, so they need someone to step up...and quickly. Bob Hallen, who played at Mentor High School (east of Cleveland) and Kent State is the likely successor for Bentley.

I may be headed to Browns camp in the next week or so...and since the Bills and Browns play August 26 in Orchard Park, I may post what I see there.

Please do so, Mike. Always good to get eyewitness accounts of any team's camp.
