ganesh Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I think with a little more tighter coaching and gameday decisions we could have won a few more games... 1. The Miami game is a no brainer...You don't blow a 21pt lead going into the 4th quarter. 2. The Carolina game was very close..The defense played well for 55 minutes and then gave up the big TD that ultimately cost us the game. 3. They could have beaten New Orleans 4. Finally, they had the lead against the Jets in thes season finale and they blew it by letting them run a KR for TD.... That is 4 more wins we could have had...make it a 9-7 season....
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 The Bucs game was closer than the score appeared.
RuntheDamnBall Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 And including the Bucs game that's 5 of the games that Losman started, which tells me: with a little more experience and sound instruction, he gets over that hump and those close games become the ones we win.
Kelly the Dog Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Surely the New England game, too. I would say six. But that's implying that they win them all. But if you halve that and say three, it's still 8-8.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I doubt we would've won the bucs game we were downright brutal on both sides of the ball but with some better coaching I think we would've won the atlanta game. Our run game was really clicking that day.
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 At least three; New England, Miami, New Orleans.

Last year we could have beat New England once, the Jets twice, and both New Orleans and Atlanta (a home game loss).
scribo Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 At least the fist Pats game, the second stinkin' fish game, the last Jests game, the 'Aints game and the Panthers game. But the question then is where would we be now if those games went the other way? Me thinks Meathhead, TD, Mike Williams, Sam Adams, Eric Moulds and Lawyer Milloy would still be in town.

But that means TD would be here too {I have contributed nothing to this thread}

I agree, if we had finished 9-7 then MM still stays on as the coach....with back to back 9-7 seasons.
Bob in SC Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Add one more - clock management . MM was terrible. cantankerous Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 We could have beaten the damn Falcons if Jerry Gray didn't blitz every down resulting in ZERO sacks and many, many rushing yards by Vick.
