stuckincincy Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 At this rate, they might have trouble suiting up 22 players... "Bengals Tackle Tased Askew arrested after allegedly resisting arrest. By 700WLW News Sunday, July 23, 2006 Another member of the Bengals is in trouble with the law. Defensive Tackle Matthias Askew was tased and arrested Saturday night in South Cummingsville, after allegedly struggling with police. Police say they contacted the 24-year-old over a parking violation, in the 3700 block of Beekman, around 8pm. They say the 6'5", 302lb. tackle refused to comply, and ran from officers. When they caught him, Askew was tased. He's been charged with obstruction, resisting arrest, and the parking violation." http://www.700wlw.com/pages/localNews.html...&article=595460
udonkey Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I can't even begin to describe how much I've enjoyed this Bengals offseason
Thailog80 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Well....he already has a striped uniform. 727500[/snapback] Complete with numbers and it's orange.

blzrul Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 No worries, they'll probably end up sporting a silver-and-blue uniform with a lone star on the helmet...
jarthur31 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 South Cummingsville? Is this the wedding capital of the world, eh?
cantankerous Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 What is wrong with those guys? I can't believe the arrogance these guys exude. Amazing.
Gavin in Va Beach Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 This keeps up and they'll have to change the name to the Cincinnati Dolphins...
JoeF Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Enough of a tizzy to get tasered for a parking violation...now there's some real sound judgement. The name askew really fits. Marvin Lewis probably has enough life credits to get a warden's certificate from the University of Phoenix.
Albany,n.y. Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Just like they do in Nebraska, when there's a crime in Cincinnati, instead of a mug book, they hand the witness a Bengals' program or yearbook and have witness point out the suspect.
generaLee83 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 If '40' is the new '20'.................. Then 'Bengal' must be the new 'Raider'. This is pathetic, these people make more money in 1 game than the combined 10 year total income of everyone on this board and they can't even keep their a#@es out of trouble. Whenever I see a team that is loaded with bad attitudes and criminals like the 06-07 Bengals I always deeply hope that their season is terrible, like 0-16 with 7 career ending injuries terrible.
