We might be better off with his 2nd ranked prospect OT Joe Thomas, although he'll have to answer a lot of questions this season coming off an ACL tear and could turn out to be this year's Eric Winston.
/dev/null Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I'd trade down and take Paul Posloszny Poslozney, Fletcher, Takeo
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I'll bet anyone any amount of money the Bills don't have the worst record in the NFL this season. Any takers?
buffaloboyinATL Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I'll bet anyone any amount of money the Bills don't have the worst record in the NFL this season. Any takers? 727534 Not a chance. I agree with you. 8-8 at worst. We will be in the middle of the pack. Last year everyone was on our bandwagon before the season and this year we are the vogue last place pick. The truth is in between and the key will be improved D line play.
BuffaloBilliever Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Anyone remember that the Sabres were picked to finish DEAD LAST by SI this year? Exactly. Go Bills.
bbfan54 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 The key to the bills next year is how they stop the run on defense. If the bills don't improve in run defense they could be picking first next year. It is the biggest question mark in my opinion.

Any takers? 727534 I'll wager you'll be contacted by "fans" who were pissed we won at Cincinnati last year or bemoaned too many wins. Just wait.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I'll bet anyone any amount of money the Bills don't have the worst record in the NFL this season. Any takers? Back at the prediction game, are you?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Back at the prediction game? Here's a parlay for ya, HD: The Bills don't finish last in the NFL and the Patriots don't win the SB. Game?
Hollywood Donahoe Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Here's a parlay for ya, HD: The Bills don't finish last in the NFL and the Patriots don't win the SB. Game? How could I ever turn down those odds?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 How could I ever turn down those odds? Hey, you think my predictions are 100% wrong. That should make it good odds then to win that bet.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Hey, you think my predictions are 100% wrong. That should make it good odds then to win that bet. True enough, but you know what they say about stopped clocks and blind squirrels.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 True enough, but you know what they say about stopped clocks and blind squirrels. Well this "stopped block/blind squirrel" was right about the Patriots last year, so that means my odds of being right again are bad. So the best is a no-brainer. Unless you REALLY think the Bills will finish with the worst record in the NFL this year. Or hell, split the bets if you like. I'll take either prediction alone.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Unless you REALLY think the Bills will finish with the worst record in the NFL this year. No, I don't. I really can't see the Bills being worse than Green Bay, San Francisco, or Oakland, among a few possible others.
K-gunner Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 We might not be great this year...but no way in hell we end up drafting first overall.'Taint gonna happen..
DCM Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I'll bet anyone any amount of money the Bills don't have the worst record in the NFL this season. Any takers? 727534 That's it.....keep reaching for the sky.....eye on the prize baby!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 That's it.....keep reaching for the sky.....eye on the prize baby! Sorry but that's something I know won't happen and thus am willing to bet on. Other stuff I think will happen but won't bet on is the Bills having a better record than the Dolphins. Is that "reaching for the sky"-enough for ya?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I do think the Bills will be pretty bad this year. How bad? Bottom 10, EASY. But they wont be the worst, they just wont. Look at a team like the Niners, completely devoid of ANY talent whatsoever with iffy coaching. As bad as we are, we at least have decent players who just sadly underachieved last year. The Niners really dont have much. We'll blow, but not #1 overall.
