Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 How does it compare to here? 724004 About 20 degrees cooler. It's hotter than the bejeezus out here.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Yesterday the heat index was 115 here. The humidity is what makes it so miserable. 724011 Damn skippy. Yesterday, we had 85 percent humidity and 95+ degree temps. Not fun at all.
stuckincincy Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Heat emergency here. Folks - oldsters, youngsters, and pets, might get hurt. I'm expecting power outages.
Dan Gross Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 About 20 degrees cooler. It's hotter than the bejeezus out here. 724006 105?! It's only supposed to hit 95 here...
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 105?! It's only supposed to hit 95 here... 724026 100 base, 105 with heat index. Hell on earth.
John from Riverside Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 We got to 106 over the weekend..... The problem is....the air conditioning went out in my house on Saturday.....nothing like feeling the inside of your house go up 20 degrees over the course of about 5 minutes..... Luckily I got someone to fix it by the end of the day......
duey Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 How does it compare to here? 724004 Oh, but that's a dry heat, so it's no big deal.
IDBillzFan Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 It's been in the 100s here and will continue to be through the week. What is miserable is that it starts early and the temps aren't peaking until after 3 p.m. The AC is on before 10 a.m. and it stays on until after 7 p.m. Power bill will easy surpass three bills this month, but I hate heat so you can't put a price on comfort.
