English children's author Briar Rabbit. I'm guessing that you are in your 20s not 30s & up. I was raised on Beatrix Potter books. Also, the 1967 Disney movie 'The Jungle Book' from memory makes the rabbit in the briar patch famous. Being Australian is no excuse for your ignorance.
