The river is SO HIGH! 716580[/snapback] It's been raining for month's it seems in newengland. If you like whitewater kayaking now's the time, the rivers are boiling with fury and if you got cajones to ride out those runs, you just added another chapter of the river runs through it. I have done some whitewater canoeing on some serious whitewater rapids and friends of mine snapped their canoe in half on one crazy run. But man these waters now make those days look like childs play.

Wacka Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 A few sprinkles at the beginning of June. It usually doesn't rain from April to October here in the SF bay area.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 We got a foot in a week. It's ben downright Monsoonal for a month, but today is absolutely beautiful. A gift from the gods for patiently enduring weeks of sweaty-sock-like weather.
Marv's Neighbor Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Look on the bright side, it didn't happen in December!
