erynthered Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Why? 715865 Pretty quick flight, IMO. Though I didnt know they had direct flights from Liverpool to Albany.
Marv's Neighbor Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 It was the Thruway's 50th Birthday party and "someone left the cake out in the rain."
Wacka Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Liverpool, the home of Burger Row. I would always stop there to eat when I made trips from Bristol, CT to Cheektowaga. I saw that you guys git hit by the rain today.
GoodBye Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Why? 715865 He said the road was closed.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 He said the road was closed. 715947 I think he meant "Why was the road closed?" Although considering the general dopiness of the source of the question, your interpretation may be correct.

rockpile Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 No, it was not Woodstock again - it was rain and flooding. That's right - click here!
Gavin in Va Beach Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Why were you in Liverpool? 715918 Maybe he wanted a Heid's hotdog?

That's right - click here! 715966 Yeah, I saw video of Binghamton yesterday and the river swept some low income housing away. The picture of that woman attempting to push her child in a stroller reminds me of what we saw last year in New Orleans.

Nick in RaChaCha Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 He said the road was closed. 715947 LOL
ricojes Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Oddly enough when they showed houses under water in Binghamton, there were no people or dogs on the roofs waiting to be rescued. Must be they had plenty on notice to evacuate!!
Albany,n.y. Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 Why were you in Liverpool? 715918 I was viewing some Hydroelectric plants & the owner's office is in Liverpool. We drove there & then the tax rep drove us all over. We went as far as Hydraulic Race in Lockport & found out the Thruway was closed while we were on our way back to Liverpool.
Albany,n.y. Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 Why? 715865 I think the Mohawk overflowed onto the Thruway. It was pretty high on Tuesday when we drove out.
