As for the "hate-the-jews" indocrination, did you read the Haaretz article? There's little there I'd disagree with. No doubt if the author posted those sort of views on this board, you'd accuse him of hating jews as well. I have my doubts that someone named Gideon Levy would have been indocrinated to hate jews, but there you are.

That's the problem with using the anti-semitism slur against each and every critic of Israel. The inconvenient truth is that there are plenty of jews and Israelis that would make the very same criticisms of Israel. Are these also "jew-haters"? Or is that only jews are allowed to criticize Israel and anyone else who does the same is "anti-semitic"?

That's fine and dandy. Nice words. And the solution is to ...... Is Hamas willing to negotiate in good faith? Is Hezbollah?

Israel has fought wars with Egypt & Jordan. That didn't prevent them from signing peace deals that work. Yet when Israel doesn't negotiate with people who want to wipe it off the face of the earth, it's Israel's fault.

Welcome to democracy. Palestinians elected Hamas. Lebanese elected Hezbollah.

And hopefully, the Israelis will elect to grind both into dust.

Any attempt by a site to collect this type of data with any degree of accuracy is admirable, but futile IMO.

? Your reply seems to have little to do with my post, which was a reply to Moose accusing me of being influenced by "anti-jew indoctrination".

I note that in one of your previous posts you said:

"making Gaza a wide beach won't make it much safer".

I took that to mean that you weren't 100% in agreement with Israel's actions in Gaza. Perhaps I misinterpreted that statement or have you changed your mind?

Are you saying that islam does not indoctrinate its followers to hate the Jews? That was my only point.

I never said anyone who criticizes Israel is anti-semitic. Nor, necessarily, is anyone who criticizes EVERYTHING Israel does... like you do! I did not call you anti-semitic. I simply said that the indoctrination of islam - where everything is the fault of the Jews (or anyone who is a friend of the Jews for that matter) - seems to have taken some hold on you.

Well then, allow me to set the record straight - I haven't been indoctrinated by Islam or anything else for that matter. I'd also like to point out that I have never, not once, directed any criticism at "the Jews" but only at the state of Israel.

Never said you did. BTW, have you ever directed any criticism whatsoever at any islamic-majority state? I haven't visited the Wall in a long time, so I was just wondering...

Can't recall whether I have or not. I have no great love for Saudi Arabia and may have criticized them here, but I'm not sure of that. I've certainly said on many occasions that I'm completely opposed to suicide bombings, which may not be a criticism of an Islamic state, but is certainly a criticism of the policy of certain Arab groups. Anyway, why should I bother directing criticism at Islamic-majority states on this board? This board is full of people doing that - what would be the point of a "me too" type of post? I tend to post when my point of view differs from what is already being said on here, otherwise I can't see the point.

I'm not in disagreement with the current actions in Gaza. If anything, Israel is acting with restraint. Name another country that wouldn't be carpet bombing a neighbor after weeks of rocket attacks.

This is how perverted the logic has gotten - Israel leaves Gaza, Palestinians elect a government whose stated mission is the elimination of Israel, the Palestinian government agents (since they're Hamas) fire rockets into Israel, enter Israel and take a prisoner. Yet, Israel is expected by the world to show restraint.

Could this mean the same thing, in that contex?

I'd also like to point out that I have never, not once, directed any criticism at "Americans" but only at the United States of America.

Please help out a dumb Mic from New York out on this one. Whats the difference?

Not to split hairs, but, damn.

Gee, that's admirable! How about beheading, disembowelments and other islamic favorites that mesh more with the koran than the Geneva Convention?

You're pretty good at taking quotes out of context and twisting their meanings.
