Crap Throwing Monkey
Wow, sounds like you are getting some of our rain that we usually get. 714447 It's nuts. We just got another inch and a half in the past half hour. The backyard's cresting at two feet above flood stage... We've got a storm drain in the backyard...and a chain link fence with two feet of debris stacked up behind it, so none of the water can get to the storm drain. The water's just coasting along the fence until it hits the front yard, then washing into the street. This is getting faintly ridiculous. All my wife's real estate closings for the week were cancelled because the condo had its bottom TWO floors flooded out. The DC Beltway was closed by a mud slide this morning. What, am I in California suddenly or something? I didn't even know we could get mud slides in DC.
Pete
Thanks, I appreciate it! I have a standing invitation to vacation up there with him and his lady, but I have yet to take him up on it. He loves it up there, though. 714465 I went to college in New Hampshire and loved it! One of the most beautiful states I have ever been. So I hopped on the marta and went to the midtown stop, exited and walked to a bar called ''vortex'' got stuck there, till my liver was drenched in whiskey and beer, great jukebox btw. Made it back to my flight just in time, and flew away wasted

EC-Bills
Is it hot enough yet for Lana to need to go topless? Hey, I'm just asking... Here in DC, we've had about 12 inches of rain in 36 hours. A flash flood tore through the yard last night...the house is fine, the landscaping is absolutely wrecked. Worst it's been in at least 30 years...through the simple and obvious fact that the water took down a 30-year old fence. It's nuts. All things being equal, I'd rather be in bed with my wife than put up with this crap... ...wait a minute, my wife's in bed right now. Be right back... 714443 Ah that's nothing. Try groing up in Florida and riding out some hurricanes Seriously, that is some major rainage. Redoing the landscaping is going to suck big time. Wacka
Ugh, I think I'm melting. It really got to 103? Crazy! It's too early for this type of weather! I just got back today from San Francisco where it was 80 degrees during the day and it would get to about 65 at night. Perfect! Is it supposed to cool down? 714437 If you wanted hot weather, you should have come inland. I'm about 25 miles east of SF and it has been 97-103 all week with lows about 70. This is normal for this time of year. I was south of SF on the peninsula (just south of the airport) yesterday and it was 78 there. One time it was 55 at the SF Zoo (by the ocean) and it was 105 at my place 25-30 miles away!

The staff has an attitude, but that's all part of the marketing.

Sounds like global cooling to me. The temps we are getting here in CA are right at the normal levels for this time of year. it might actually get "cold" this week (mid 80s).
