Headed to Germany on the 27th, bringing laptop, camera (rechargeable batteries and charger), ipod nano.....need converter and possibly transition piece for wall charger (in hotel rooms)..Where do I go, what should I know? Since the manufacturers sell similar items across the world, the power supplies are standard. All you'll need are the $5 converter plugs to fit into the Euro sockets. To be sure look at the specs in your electronics' users manual to see whether they accept higher volage. I had no trouble with my gear on the numerous Euro trips.
