Webster Guy Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Need advice! Headed to Germany on the 27th, bringing laptop, camera (rechargeable batteries and charger), ipod nano.....need converter and possibly transition piece for wall charger (in hotel rooms)..Where do I go, what should I know? Thanks!
GG Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Chances are, most of the electronics are configured to accept 220V inputs. Since the manufacturers sell similar items across the world, the power supplies are standard. All you'll need are the $5 converter plugs to fit into the Euro sockets. To be sure look at the specs in your electronics' users manual to see whether they accept higher volage. I had no trouble with my gear on the numerous Euro trips.
MattyT Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I used every single thing on your list while in Germany without any issue. All you should need is the adapter to fit their sockets.
