Fake-Fat Sunny
Flippimg off troopers and throwing beer bottles- What a rebel!http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=nfl&id=1892362 52968[/snapback] A rebel? It sounds like a sad case of un or poorly treated mental illness to me (based on what his Mom said). I find it strange to attribute much logical thought (even if it is merely a commitment to rebeling and being different than the norm) to a sad setof actions which clearly have brought pain to a lot of family members, could have been much worse because he took such a danagerous path and ended in the death of someone who had so much. ***PetrinoInAlbany***
What blew my mind was that he did four miles in the oncoming lane without killing someone. This is a stretch of the Thruway that I travel frequently. The traffic disruption resulting from the five-hour closing was felt all the way to Albany. I feel for the guy, because one or two pills a day could've dealt with what was probably just a chemical imbalance. But sympathy aside, I'm glad this wasn't one of those similar stories that ends with the guy hitting head-on a van full of kids coming back from a field trip ... Mike in Syracuse
The whole incident is bizzare and sad. Thank God he didn't hit a mini-van with an entire family in it.
