Mike Mularkey ripping the offense

They just showed Mularkey on TV tearing into the whole offense on the sidelines. The whole offense was in a huddle with MM right in the middle. He had his hat and headset in one hand and was pointing with the other. That is what I like to see. The O has not been that bad, but he is still ripping them (probably for all the personal fouls).

Way to go Mike. :o

We could've won but it shouldn't even have been an issue in the 4th if we had chose to run in those two early goal line situations.

He's only venting due to his own futility.

And we could have won if it wasn't for the botched PAT, and we could have won if it wasn't for the 23 penalties, and we could have won if it wasn't for...

Bottom line is we really sucked tonight. We should have had that game. If we would have simply had half the penalties we had, we would have left with a 14 point victory.

Chalk it up to being the second preseason game and lets call it a night.

Wow, 23 pens? How about Tennessee? Were they calling everything close tonight, or was it just Bflo.???

Yup, 23 penalties. It may have been 24, I'm not sure if the last defensive penalty was included in that 23. TN had what... (someone correct me) 13? I know it was at least 11.

Not crappy little ones, either. A pile of personal foul calls, lots of holding which I'd expect in a preseason game.

That's a bunch for both clubs, but 23 for the Bills...very bad. But I'd paint less of a bad picture...like you said, pre-season players fighting for jobs. B'gals tonight had a 90+ return called back for three pen's assessed, and top pick RB Perry got a PF for loud-mouthing that wiped out 20 yards. What I hate are the offsides, delay-of-games, illegal formation stuff nd so forth.:w00t:

Right... penalties that "professionals" should know how to avoid. Technical penalties. Na, most of the Bills' penalties this week were PF's and holding if I remember right. Usual preseason crap. Just a pile of it.

There were a lot of penalties. On one play there were four flags on the turf. I think that was a lot of what mularkey was so pissed about. Many unsportsmanlike conduct calls. A couple were because of the now enforced "can't touch the receiver after 5 yards rule" put in place years ago.

I think it was Marv that said that durng the regular season when there was more at stake, the stripes would not be so liberal with the flags.

It was a close game, with a lot of mental errors, and a lot of subs playing with rapid insertion into the game.

Too many "if only's" to mention. My only if, was what would the outcome been in a real game, with all 1st team for 4Q's?

It is preseason. SO WE ARE billsfanone! :w00t:

Great to see Terrence McGee get game MVP.
