Ozymandius Posted June 20, 2006 Share Posted June 20, 2006 Our DEs would seem to require a system where they are allowed 6-8 seconds to get to the QB and be strong at the point of attack against the run on their own without help from teammates. Orton's Arm Posted June 20, 2006 Share Posted June 20, 2006 Maybe not to the extent of coal to diamonds, but a new scheme may poor to mediocre players into servicable to good players. For example, put Kelly Holcomb into an offensive scheme that involves alot of deep downfield passes (like a St. louis offence) and he would look horrible.
