Jon in Pasadena
Deep passing gameThere was an obvious emphasis on the deep passing game Wednesday as the quarterbacks were airing it out early and often in team work. Craig Nall had a beautiful 60-yard bomb to Andre Davis that went for a would-be touchdown as Davis got behind Ashton Youboty on the play. J.P. Losman threw an equally effective deep ball down the opposite sideline to Peerless Price. Price however bobbled it and couldn't make the reception as he got tied up by Terrence McGee. In a related story, Kelly Holcomb was reportedly seen running around giving chest-bumps and shouting "Oh yeah, baby, who da man! Who da MAN!" after rocketing one that came very close to reaching the line of scrimmage.

Ramius
c;mon guys, give holcomb SOME credit. if you read the entire article, you would have seen that he did in fact, reach the LOS with a pass... Bills linebacker Wendell Hunter turned in a big play with an interception of Kelly Holcomb.

Please! 708504 I have it on good authority that Holcomb can indeed throw the ball two yards past the LoS....but only when it's 4th and 10. udonkey
In the bit of promise that JP did show last season, he had a couple of really nice deep passes to Lee Evans down the sidelines
Rubes
No, dude was in the backfield on a linebacker blitz. 708519 I think it was more like a 4th and 2 play so he threw a -4 yard pass.

CaliforniaCheez
Nall had a beautiful 60 yard bomb that went for a would be touchdown. Losman threw an effective(not beautiful) deep ball(yardage not mentioned) that was defended/incomplete. Holcomb was not mentioned in association with the deep ball. Good to see the QB's are starting to sort themselves out.
