smokinandjokin Posted June 8, 2006 Share Posted June 8, 2006 There wasn't much on last night. Yanks-Sawx rained out, not in the mood to watch the Cup, so I flipped on ESPN2 and was watching boxing. In the 9th round of the main event bout, Demetrius Hopkins (Bernard's nephew) hit Michael Warrick with a straight right that resulted in one of the purest knockouts I've ever seen. Warrick's arms fell to his side and he just dropped face first onto the canvas like a tree in the woods. He didn't move for about 5-6 minutes, and then was finally placed on a stool, where he stayed for another 5 minutes. Big time punch for a 142 lb guy not known as a power puncher.
