He's got good size and he's supposed to be a ST animal. This is a little bit of a surprise, seeing that it didn't happen right on June 1st. I wonder if there is going to other late releases.

There really is no point in cutting someone exactly on June 1st. I would expect there would be delays from now through training camps.

And Bannister is no different than the other 5 average WR's we have.

I think we've tried to bring in Bannister twice...once when he was a RFA and last year when he was a UFA.

I know I've seen his name pop up with the Bills a few times over the last two years.

He's broken his collarbone two years in a row...barely seen the field in that time. He's a great special teams player though. Not someone the Bills need in my opinion.

We already have great ST's players...we don't need one that will brake his collarbone for the third time in 3 years. He's barely seen any action since 03...and he's not a good receiver either...in 5 years he's only caught 9 passes. Yeah! We should sign him!

Unfortunately, the Bills have a roster right now, made up of "great STers", and too little else...
