Dibs
Here is a list of 'dropped passes' percentages. Evans had the 14th best percentage in the league. As it happens, Moulds had the 11th. Considering the terrible play at O-line & QB for us...what does this imply? With an optimistic eye I can see Evans(super fast, agile & sure handed) blossoming into a #1 WR. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/col...r_kc&id=2466157 Here are the top 20 receivers in dropped pass percentage from the 2005 season: Dropped Passes Player Team Dropped passes Dropped pass % Houshmandzadeh Cincinnati 3 2.6% Marvin Harrison Indianapolis 4 3.2% Bobby Engram Seattle 4 4.3% Jason Witten Dallas 4 4.5% Steve Smith Carolina 7 4.7% Scottie Vines Detroit 3 4.8% Tony Gonzalez Kanas City 6 4.9% Eric Parker San Diego 4 4.9% K. MadBuffaloDisease
You got the link for the number of dropped passes Nance had in college? I can't seem to get the other guy to come up with this stat.
Acantha
I got the link from that thread. 702554 Darn....I even looked though the thread to see if it was there before I posted....missed it in the sea of quotation marks!
cantankerous
Are these correct? Chris Chambers really dropped 17 passes?! BTW...I was watching the Denver game on TIVO the other day and Lee Evans dropped at least 3 in that game alone...so I find it hard to believe he dropped only 5 all year. Oneonta Buffalo Fan
Evans has already proved to be the next Eric Moulds in Buffalo, which is great.
Kelly the Dog
Evans at #14 is substantially better than Moulds at #11 because of the kinds of passes they were both thrown over the course of the year. Moulds' percentage goes way, way up because he was thrown 5 yard passes on three step drops.

Estro
Notice How there's 4 players from philly on the "worst list". Donovan must not throw tight spirals.
Commander
Where's Josh Reed? Everyone knows he drops more passes than anyone in the league!

Donovan must not throw tight spirals. 702652 But....McNabb only played 9 games & at least 3 of those he was hampered by that sternum injury thingy. If you compare McNabbs stats to his backups(McMahon & Detmer) you see the reason appears perhaps to be them. Also T.O. might just have had 'lapses' in concentration due to his own 'issues'. WhitnerIsAGod
12 dropped passes between Moulds and Evans. If they had only dropped half as many passes, Losman might have been 119 for 228 for a 52% completion percentage -- and then maybe not an obvious bust. MadBuffaloDisease
According to snap.stats.com, Losman had 9 passes dropped. But he had 42 passes defensed. Maybe a better effort on the part of the WR's (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), might have helped.
