Pete Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I am trying to convert a song to a ringtone. Is there a program I can download for free? Any suggestions how to do it? I am trying to convert the theme song from the greatest show ever- Globetrekker to a ringtone. Its an inspiring song- I get so pumped everytime I hear it. Thanks!
Just Jack Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 I just make sure it is in MP3 form, then email it to my phone. Verizon then converts it to the correct form during the email, and when it arrives on my phone, there's an option to save it.

Just Jack Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 If it's a camera phone, you can try (your cell phone number, all 10 digits, as 0001114444, ie no dashes)@vzwpix.com That's what I use for mine.

SDS Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Motorola Razr V3- thanks! 702583[/snapback] your razr has bluetooth, so just get near a bluetooth capable PC and transfer an MP3. I just did that with Sabre Dance and it works fine.
Kelly the Dog Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 I put Nilsson's theme song from "Midnight Cowboy" on my cell as its ringtone. It plays, "Everybody's talkin' at me... I don't hear a word they're sayin'..."
Just Jack Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 I've got the first 36 seconds of the Imperial March and for work and people from the office, I use the Underpant Gnomes song from South Park. I've also got the Bills Shout song.
