DC Tom Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor..._ot/obit_avedon Richard Avedon, the revolutionary photographer who redefined fashion photography as an art form while achieving critical acclaim through his stark black-and-white portraits of the powerful and celebrated, died Friday. He was 81. Not that anyone gives a flying stevestojan, really...I just wanted to bug Poojer.
GG Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I do. He was one of the industry's icons, and deserves the well wishes.

He was one of the legends, and his style will probably always be imitated - as it still is today.
Rico Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I truly enjoyed his work for Playboy over the years. RIP Richard.
